Wash and Wax FAQs

Do you come to me?

Yes, we are mobile-based. All we would need is a source of water like a hose and we can complete anything you want! We service the greater Columbus area and surrounding cities like Grove City, Hilliard, Westerville, Galena, Dublin, Gahanna, Worthington, New Albany, etc.

What kind of wax do you use?

We have a few brands we are experimenting with to see what works best in certain types of weather. Right now we are using Koch Chemie's Micro cut and Finish P3.01. It removes minor scratches and leaves a glossy finish.

How long will the wax last?

It all comes down to how you maintain and store your car. If you wash with the two bucket wash method and use a foam cannon and it isn't exposed to weather all the time, it should last 4-6 months. If you keep your car outside all the time and go through automatic car washes all the time it might last up to 3 months.

If you are using dish soap to wash your car it will strip any wax right away so dont do that.

Do you need access to water?

Sadly, we don't want to use our customer's water but at the end of the day, we don't have a van with a water tank to provide our own water. With that said we are very appreciative of our customers for this and are working on getting a van so our customers can have a hassle-free experience.

Does this remove scratches from my paint?

Applying wax will remove the micro swirls and scratches from your paint. The heat and friction from the polisher will remove those small scratches and fill in others giving that shine.
